Uniform

The Eden School promotes excellence and aspiration in everything its pupils do.  The school uniform is designed to reinforce this spirit of excellence.  It is smart and practical, encourages pupils to take pride in being part of their school and enables them to act as ambassadors for the Star educational experience.  The uniform is also designed to portray a professional and business-like image.

High standards of presentation are required at all times when wearing the school uniform, with clean clothes, tidy hair and no jewellery (except where agreed on grounds of faith).  Whenever the school uniform is worn, it must be complete and not mixed with non-uniform clothing.  This includes when travelling to and from school.

Second-hand Uniform Provision

The school has a free ‘pre-loved’ uniform scheme. Uniform is an expensive requirement for our families. Therefore, the school wishes to help by making good-quality second-hand uniform easily available.

To support the scheme, the school asks families to donate any unwanted items of uniform or sportswear that are in good condition and could be worn by another pupil.

Please donate items that are: Unfortunately, the school cannot accept items that are:
  • In good condition
  • Clean
  • Branded items (e.g. school blazer or jumper)
  • Non-branded items (e.g. skirts, blouses or shoes )
  • Ripped or torn
  • Stained or marked
  • Dirty/unwashed

If parents have any uniform or sportswear items in good condition that their daughter no longer wears, they are encouraged to donate them to the school. Parents should drop off the uniform item to the school’s reception desk. Items should be donated in a clean and dry condition so that they can be passed straight to another family.

We will be organising ‘pre-loved’ events throughout the year, please look out for the messages we shared to publish the events. Alternatively, parents can email the school at info@egslough.staracademies.org, stating the item and the size required free of charge. The school will then reply to let parents know if the item is in stock and to agree a time for parents to collect.
